About Greenworld Irrigation
Brian K. Klimek gained his irrigation experience as a foreman with a local landscape & irrigation company before starting Greenworld in the fall of 1998. With a 1985 Chevy box truck and a used pipe pulling machine, Brian was an entrepreneur. While working Brian attended school. He received an Associates degree from Rockland Community College and attended 1-1/2 semesters at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Brian left Ramapo College when Greenworld started to grow. During his time in the industry, Brian has worked hard to be licensed and certified in his field. Licenses currently held include:
- Certified Irrigation Contractor
- Certified Irrigation Technician
- Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor
- State Licensed Irrigation Technician NY/NJ
- Licensed General Contractor
- Hunter Preferred Irrigation Contractor
- NY/NJ Licensed Backflow Tester
Brian has just completed his certification in 2015 to become a Nationally Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) through the Irrigation Association. This was a long process that required many hours of class room education and studying. There are less than 10 CITs in the Hudson Valley.
Brian is dedicated to his profession. He adheres to industry accepted standards to deliver the best product and service to his customers. Along with our irrigation team, we have tackled some of the most challenging irrigation projects our area has to offer. From residential installations and green roofs to golf courses, parks and athletic fields, Greenworld’s team has the knowledge and experience to get it done.
Brian is a volunteer for numerous causes in the community. Greenworld has donated materials and labor for many schools, colleges, towns and villages and not for profit agencies. Our most recent project was an entire sprinkler system donated in 2015 for the ‘Homes for Heroes’ project in Tappan, NY.
When Brian is not working, he spends time with his wife, Anna, two sons, Matthew and Nicholas and his daughter Emily. He enjoys watching his kids in their various sports and activities and volunteers as a coach for his children’s soccer and little league baseball team. Brian is always rooting for the Mets and Jets.
